Leaving Work To Care for Special Needs Child

Last week, on Wednesday, I gave my notice at work that I will no longer be with the company. I couldn't help, but start crying as I sat there in the office with 2 of my bosses. I had received Associate of the Year 2023 for my branch, had won our companies customer service award 2x, and was used to the customers I would have daily interactions with. I had spent about 3-1/2 years in that office. I felt the need to step down and invest more time into my family. I look forward to spending my day with them and watching them grow. My youngest boy deserves all the help he can get to advocate his wants, needs, and dreams. Both of the boys have grown up so quickly and I don't want to miss anything. I'm sure you can relate. I don't know where the time goes.
